in her solo show "glass houses" at mcKee gallery, british artist lucy williams pursues her interest for glass houses and interiors of early modernist architecture creating 2-dimensional collages. it's amazing how those countless, delicate compositions build up and result in a strong entity in every single work. they are like micro installations kept in frame! i love their minimalistic, pop arty surfaces and how they flirtatiously interact with realism.
